The flavour secret of this low fat dinner recipe is the wine and broth, which adds flavor to the chicken. Poached chicken with tarragon cream serve with steamed veggies and rice for a full meal.
Whilst this is a bit of a gourmet dish (without the fat), it is amazingly simple and quick to prepare.
That’s good, because you get to eat a delicious low fat dinner meal on an evening during the week (ie, not necessarily having to wait till the weekend comes to have the time to cook it). Half an hour’s all you need!
I love the creamy-ness of this continental low fat chicken dish. And knowing that you can lose weight eating food like this, makes will make it easier for you to stick to your healthy eating journey.
Programs like Weight Watches (TM) and the CSIRO are what I call “the middle path” programs, because they do not advocate austerity and human sacrifice to achieve your goal.
Instead, they educate you and show you how you can enjoy yourself with moderation, and still get a healthy weight loss rate.
Eating food like this, keeps you “civilized” and happy as you change your eating habits.
